Congratulations to all of our 2019 Skills Manitoba competitors. Our student ambassadors did an excellent job representing SJASD at the annual, province-wide event as they performed in their respective trade and technology fields. This year, a total of 34 students participated in Skills Manitoba, held on April 11 at Red River College. Three students from St. James Collegiate took part and 31 students took part from Collège Sturgeon Heights Collegiate.
Our students participated in a total of 17 different competitions and medalled in 10 of those categories. We wish to acknowledge the following students who earned a spot on the podium this year:
