COVID-19 truly challenges the most basic of daily routines we once took for granted. Travel outside the home, communicating through screens that lack the familiarity of a friendly in-person presence, and even the ability to plan in an ever-changing world of restrictions. Plus, when paired with the persistency of these trials, it is perfectly reasonable to feel overwhelmed, run down and worn out by these abnormal 'new normals.'

Yet, when we were all called upon to transition our education system from at-school learning to at-home learning in a minimal amount of time, our community met and overcame the challenge. In a time when once regular tasks are now more complex, it's important to take a moment and appreciate the endeavours of a community when we are called upon to once again suddenly shift our lives. Education is a partnership between students, parents, teachers and staff as a community, and it is a challenge that we all undertake together.

Thank you for your sacrifice and perseverance in keeping our children and community safe. We value all of your efforts, big and small, because it all adds up as we strive to provide the best for our children.
