Collège Sturgeon Heights Collegiate win big in Norm the Safety Contest

May 27, 2021

Norm.jpgEvery year, SAFE Work Manitoba has a student contest for their "Norm the Safety Contest" that invites high school students to tap into their creativity and create projects that show young Manitobans how to Make Safety the Norm. In the past, St. James-Assiniboia School Division Collège Sturgeon Heights Collegiate (CSHC) students have submitted drawings, photography, graphic design, video and animated pieces as submissions.

Despite the chaotic year, the 2021 contest saw more than 20 CSHC student submissions, and as a reflection of their dedication to this contest, CSHC won every category.

"This contest allows our students to showcase their talents by creating workplace safety awareness material using any media of their choice," said James Rogowy, Digital Media Design, Collège Sturgeon Heights Collegiate. "Our students worked very hard and put a lot of effort and thought into their submissions. They should all be proud of the work they have done."

The Winners for this years SAFE Work Contest are as follows:

A big congrats to the winners and all of the students who participated. Make sure to check out their winning submissions.
