​Following a serious incident on Monday, March 6, 2023 in our community that resulted in the loss of a fellow SJASD classmate and the injury of another, students may be coping with a sense of grief and shock.

Our clinicians have been reaching out to students that may need support at this time.

We strongly encourage students and staff that need help to talk to a trusted teacher, guidance counsellor, or school administrator so we can connect you to further supports.

Students that want to connect directly with clinical support can email Educational Support Services (email monitored throughout the school day, Monday to Friday).
