Supporting Children with Autism in School: Resources for Parents empowers parents to support their children with autism at school. Presenters will share practical strategies for building strong, collaborative relationships with school teams, improving communication, and enhancing co-regulation skills. Foster mutual trust and work effectively with educators to create a positive and supporting learning environment.
Presented by Student Services Coordinator Rute Mendes, this session will provide valuable resources to help parents confidently support their children and strengthen school partnerships and is suitable for caregivers new to this journey or seeking new insights.
The Staying Well Workshop series addresses crucial topics surrounding the mental, emotional, and behavioural well-being of children, teens and adults. It's designed for caregivers and staff and there is no cost to attend.
