​St. James-Assiniboia School Division is hosting​ an Identification Clinic on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Collège Sturgeon Heights Collegiate. It’s a great opportunity for Newcomers and other community members to get the process started to obtain important identification documents.​

Attendees can apply for the following:

• Social Insurance Number,
• Manitoba Birth Certificate ($30 fee),
• Manitoba Health Card, 
• Status Card, and a
• Manitoba Métis Card.

Be sure to bring photo ID and proof of residency with you. 

Attendees will also have an opportunity to obtain Information on the Canada Learning Bond, and the Jordan's Principle program.
