During the current school suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, École Assiniboine will be accepting in-catchment kindergarten registrations online. Supporting documents can be brought to the school once school resumes. Please click the following link to download and print a PDF version of our Registration Form. After filling it out and signing all areas that require signatures, you may scan it (or take photos) and send it to assiniboine@sjasd.ca. If you are not able to print the registration form, please contact us and we will arrange to either mail one to you or have you pick one up at the school on a day when someone is at the office.

A custodial parent must register the child in person and provide the following documents:​​

• Birth Certificate (Original birth certificate is required. Photocopies are not acceptable.) 
• If your child is not born in Canada, you will be required to provide citizenship papers or one of the following documents: Permanent Resident card, Record of Landing, Valid Work Permit/Visa, Valid Study Permit
• Manitoba Health card showing child & parent names
• 2 Proofs of Residency (eg. MB medical card, valid Manitoba driver’s licence, lease agreement, house title or other official documents indicating address of residence.)
