With the increased transmissibility of the Omicron variant of concern, Public Health staff are anticipating high case numbers of COVID-19 in the short term. In addition to the information on the COVID-19 Dashboard: School-Aged Cases and School Staff Cases in Manitoba, attendance data for our school has been collated as an average percentage of student absenteeism this week related to:
- COVID related illness (the individual is symptomatic and isolating)
- isolation related to awaiting results of COVID tests
- household isolation
We continue to ask all families to please notify the school in regards to a known positive COVID-19 case, a suspected COVID-19 case, or any absence related to COVID-19 isolation as it is supportive of our effort to accurately monitor attendance rates. You may use school messenger to report a COVID-related absence or call the school with this information.
For the week of January 24 - 28, the average percentage of COVID related absences was 4.81%.
For the week of January 31 - February 4 the average percentage of COVID related absences was 0.44%.
For the week of February 7 - 11 the average percentage of COVID related absences was 0.60%.
For the week of February 14 -18 the average percentage of COVID related absences was 3.52%.
For the week of February 22 - 25 the average percentage of COVID related absences was 1.17%.
For the week of February 28 - March 3 the average percentage of COVID related absences was 0%.
For the week of March 7 - 11 the average percentage of COVID related absences was 0%.
For the week of March 14 - 17 the average percentage of COVID related absences was .28%.
For the week of March 21 - 25 the average percentage of COVID related absences was .94%
For the week of April 4 - 8 the average percentage of COVID related absences was 1.46%
For the week of April 11 - 12 the average percentage of COVID related absences was .86%
For the week of April 18 - 21 the average percentage of COVID related absences was 1.00%
For the week of April 25 - 29 the average percentage of COVID related absences was .26%
For the week of May 2 - 6 the average percentage of COVID related absences was .26%
For the week of May 9 - 13 the average percentage of COVID related absences was .17%
