Families,
In keeping with tradition,
the Scholastic
“Saddle Up & Read” Book Fair will be held next week to
coincide with Student-led Conferences. This year we hope to sell $5000 in books
– which would guarantee $3000 worth of books will be raised for the Library and
classroom book collections.
To ensure this event is
once again a success, we need several parent volunteers to help set-up, run and
take down the fair. This year’s schedule is as follows:
Wednesday,
November 22 –
1-4pm – Book Fair Set-up
Thursday,
November 23 –
4-7pm & Friday,
November 24 – 9am-12pm – Book Fair
Friday,
November 24 –
12-1pm – Clean up & Take Down
Helping at the book fair is
easy and time commitments range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. If you are able

please stop by the fair in the Library to check out all the great books and help
us reach our goal (and maybe cross a few items off your holiday shopping list
too!).
