We are looking forward to our Grade 1 to 3 Winter Concert which will be held Wednesday, December 20th at 2:00pm, as well as 7:00 pm, at Sturgeon Creek United Church (207 Thompson Dr.)
Students are to arrive at the church at 6:30 and be dropped off to their homeroom teacher in the basement of the church. After the concert, 1 parent is asked to pick up their child from their homeroom teacher again, in the basement.
We will also like to support the Make A Wish Fondation with a 'Silver Collection' at the concert. Click here for details!
The students are excited and busy practicing their "Wonderful World of Winter" songs and poems.
Please note the following important information:
- Please let Mme Kotelinski know (skotelniski@sjsd.net) if your child will not be attending the Winter Concert.
- Parking is available in the attached church lot, in addition to roadside.
- Students are to arrive at school, and to the church in the evening, wearing their performance clothing.
2:00pm Concert:
- Students will be escorted to and from the church by school staff. We ask that parents do not leave the performance with their child. All students will be escorted back to the school to pick up school their back packs, etc… and will be dismissed from there.
7:00pm Concert:
- Students are to be dropped at 6:30pm for the evening performance.
- Please walk your child down to the lower level of the church upon arrival, wearing their outerwear.
- Students will be walked back upstairs to meet their parents when the concert is finished.
Clothing:
- All students are to wear black bottoms (skirt or pant), and dark shoes.
Grade 1's- Shirt or dress in shades of red and/or purple.
Grade 2's- Shirt or dress in shades of green and/or blue.
Grade 3's- Shirt or dress in shades of silver, grey and/or white.
