Hello Bruce Families!
What a great Spirit Week we had! With lots of participation from all grade levels each day, it was wonderful to see. Thank you for supporting this effort.
As you may have heard, the Metro Winnipeg Area will be entering a critical (red) level of response. This announcement will NOT affect the schools at this time and so we will continue with the current school programming. We will be having our Student/Parent/Teacher Triad conferences on Thursday, November 12 from 4-7pm. We will open Conference Manager on Monday to give parents and guardians the opportunity to book 10 minute interview slots with teachers of their choice.

Conferences will be virtual this year through Microsoft Teams and we encourage parents to log in with their child. More details to follow.
Photo retakes will be held next Friday, November 6. Students qualify for retakes if they MISSED the initial photo session, PAY FOR A PACKAGE and/or RETURN THEIR PACKAGE on retake day to the photographer.
We received a call from the Grace Hospital informing us that Bruce students are no longer welcome at the Tim Hortons inside the Grace. This is not a reaction to poor behaviour, but part of their pandemic response to limit the number of visitors to the hospital. Even though we have announced it, please let your child know and help out our front-line workers.
Despite the restrictions and the world in general right now, have a safe, Happy Hallowe’en!
