Dear Bruce Families,

Just a friendly reminder that we have a large number of Bruce Bears attending the divisional track & field meet tomorrow (June 7th) at the University of Manitoba! The bus will be leaving promptly at 8:30am sharp, so please be sure that your student is at school no later than 8:20am if they are attending. Some quick reminders from your coaches:

BRUCE BEARS TRACK & FIELD CHECKLIST

• We expect to be back at Bruce by 3:15 pm, but if you are a bus student, please make alternate arrangements to get home in the unlikely event we arrive back at Bruce later than 3:30 pm. 

• Dress to be active with proper athletic shoes, shorts/track pants, t-shirt, etc.   

• SUN PROTECTION:  sunscreen, hat, a light long-sleeved shirt to wear when not competing, etc. 

• Water, bring lots!!  Freezing some the night before to keep cold the day of would be wise. 

• Bring lunch, and healthy food options to snack on throughout the day. 

• Bring the schedule or take a pic of the attached schedule on your phone so you do not miss any of your events. 

• HAVE FUN, COMPETE HARD, SUPPORT YOUR TEAMMATES, AND ENJOY THE DAY!
