Hello Bruce Families!

As I type this, both of our Tier 1 volleyball teams just won their semi-final games and are headed to Hedges for the divisional finals, so I must make this quick.

It is with sad hearts that we have to say farewell to our Vice Principal Mrs. Stephenson.  Due to an injury sustained at work, she is unable to return for the rest of the year.  In a short time, she has touched the hearts of many at Bruce and I wish her a speedy recovery and all the best going forward.

We welcome Mrs. Porpiglia to Bruce for the rest of this calendar year.  Some of you may remember her from Bannatyne,  She is only with us until the end of December, but we welcome her help with our emerging readers.

Our first pizza day of the year will be this Friday November 25th.  As in the past, orders are due Thursday with pizza being delivered on Friday.  Each slice of pizza is $2 and a pop or juice is $1.

We are inching closer to our goal of collecting 300 boxes of cereal.  If you have given already, thank you very much!  If not, please consider donating as all the cereal will be spread throughout the divisional hampers given out to St. James Assiniboia families.

Our spirit week before the break will begin on Thursday, December 15th and end Wednesday, December 21st.  Details to come closer to the break.
