Winter Concert

December 06, 2017

concert news story.jpgPreparations are well under way for our Crestview winter concert. Our performance will be held on Wednesday, December 20 at 1:30 and 6:30 pm. Every child is involved in the concert through singing, choreography and playing instruments.

The Kindergarten to Grade 2 students will be entertaining you with lively songs about the joys of winter and the North Pole. The grade 3 to 5 students are presenting a musical, Elflandi, where the elves have doubts as to whether or not humans exist. By the end of the show, the elves discover that all their hard work of making toys is worth it. Humans are really kind and generous! Words and music can be found on the Music Blog: https://msgoertzenmusic.blogspot.ca

GRADE 3,4 & 5 SPEAKING ROLES:

Extra practices are held at lunch hours for the students with speaking parts. We ask parents to please remind your child that students with a speaking part need to be at the noon hour rehearsals. Some students are deciding to go outside to play instead of coming for their scheduled practice.  To ensure the success of each scene, students need to be at their designated practice time.

We look forward to sharing with you the sounds of the season. Thank you in advance for your support!

COSTUMES FOR WINTER CONCERT:

Further information regarding costumes will be sent home at a later date.
