Dear Crestview Parents

Please see attached for updated COVID-19 information as a reminder for all families.  Public Health is reminding all school communities that communication of positive COVID -19 cases is forwarded to families when contact tracing is required at a school. Public Health will involve the school if the COVID-19 positive individual(s) attended school in their communicable period. Should the COVID-19 positive person(s) not attend school within 48 hours of onset of illness or an asymptomatic test date, schools are not included in public health's contact tracing and notification processes.  

Crestview School requires all students and staff to self-screen for COVID-19 symptoms every day prior to entering school. https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/

This email is also to invite you to our second Crestview Parent Council meeting occurring on Wednesday, April 21 at 7:00 pm via TEAMS. The meeting will be open beginning at 6:45 pm.  The meeting will begin at 7:00 and be an hour long.

In order to engage all participants who will attend the meeting, please reply via email to: sandra.lazar@sjasd.ca including your email address by Tuesday, April 20.  Upon receiving participants' emails, I will personally send attendees an invitation to join the meeting by Wednesday afternoon.  During our Wednesday evening meeting, you will have access to raise a hand to ask questions, view and use the chat feature to type in questions and be seen via video and be able to use your microphone for discussion.

If you have a phone or iPad you will need to download and install the free TEAMs app.

Our last meeting was December 16 so this would be a good opportunity for our school community to meet and get caught up on Crestview School plans for the rest of the school year.

The agenda will include Dec. 16 meeting minutes, a treasurer's report, a principal's report, and a brief outline of the Parent Council priorities and plans for the rest of the year and the beginning of next year.

We look forward to meeting with as many of you as possible on Wednesday evening.
