The students have been working hard this past month working on their bouncing, throwing, balancing, and basketball skills. The grade 4/5 Basketball teams will finish their season with a tournament at Buchanan School on Friday March 2nd. This month the students will continue to work and develop their balancing skills as well as some basic gymnastic skills. All students K-5 will have the opportunity to use the divisional gymnastic set for the first few weeks of March.
The students will also have the opportunity to learn and practice their speed stacking skills. Cup stacking is always a fun activity that the students enjoy participating in. Students in grade 3-5 will have the opportunity to try-out for the Speed Stacking Team, for a chance to represent Crestview at the Divisional Speed Stack Tournament at Sansome School April 19th.
Grade 3 students will have their turn at Intramurals this month on Wednesdays from 12:20-12:50pm.
March will finish with the very popular Milk Spirit Week, with the Grades K-2 students participating in the Moo Olympics on March 23rd in the morning, and the grade 3-5 classes participating in the Moo Challenge in the afternoon of the 23rd. More information will go home about the Spirit Days as we get closer to the dates.
