Hello Families,
April 29-May 3rd, Crestview will be hosting our annual math week. Throughout the week, students will participate in daily math activities as well as we hope participate in themed dress-up days for each day of the week. Here is a list of each day of the week and their corresponding theme to wear.
Monday, April 29th - "Wear a Number" Day
Students can wear anything that has a number on it or represents a number.
Tuesday, April 30th- "Colour Day"
Wear a colour that is one of the colours of the rainbow (ROYGBV). It is very important that students wear a solid colour shirt from the rainbow and not a rainbow shirt because they will need the shirt for our graph activity held that day.
Wednesday, May 1st - Even Steven/Odd Todd
Students can be creative and wear anything that represents an even or odd number. For example, 3 pony tails in their hair or 2 different socks. It's an opportunity to be creative and have fun with their outfits.
Thursday, May 2nd - Wear a Pattern
Wear a shirt, sweater, pair of socks, pants or anything that has some sort of pattern.
Friday, May 3rd - Jersey Day
The students will participate in Math Olympics that afternoon in their house groups.
We are looking forward to seeing all of the students in their fun and themed outfits to show some spirit with numeracy.
Thanks,
Crestview's Numeracy Committee
