All John Taylor Collegiate, Grade 12, university-bound students are invited to attend the 19th annual University Fair at Sturgeon Heights Collegiate on Thursday, November 2nd at 1:15p.m. to 3:15p.m.. Forty universities from across Canada in addition to Manitoba Student Aid will be in attendance.

This event has a gym-roam structure and gives students an opportunity to visit information booths to ask questions and gather information. Please note that community colleges and other educational establishments will not be in attendence for this event.

Mrs. Brophy will be visiting grade 12 classrooms to talk about the event and hand out permission forms on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th. Extra fieldtrip permission forms are available for students at the office. Signed field trip forms must be returned to the office by 3:30 on Wednesday, November 1st in order for students to attend.

There are also two evening events that any Winnipeg parent may attend with their grade 11, or grade 12 child. These evening events will have a gym roam structure followed by individual breakout presentations by the different univeristies:

Wednesday, November 1:

6:30-8:30 p.m. St. John's-Ravenscourt School (South Winnipeg)

Thursday, November 2:

6:30-8:30 p.m. Balmoral Hall School (North Winnipeg)
