April 11, 2018
science.jpgCongratulations to all Lincoln students who participated in the annual Divisional Science Fair last week! This was the largest group of students we have sent to the Fair in several years. All of our students came home with a bronze, silver or gold award and they should be proud of the work they put into their projects. Special congratulations go to three of our students whoearned three of the top awards at the Fair

Special congratulations as well to Sameer for earning a Canada Wide Science Fair award for his project on Coping with Diabetes. This award is given to only four projects in grades 7 to 12 that demonstrate high achievement in either research, design process, and/or scientific method and meet the Science Fair Committee’s eligibility requirements. The award entitles Sameer an all-expense paid trip to compete at Canada’s National Science Fair to be held this year in Ottawa, Ontario in May. During the week students in Grades 7 to 12 from all provinces and territories will showcase their projects for judges, local schoolchildren and public.
