Good news!  The school has sufficient registrations to have both a morning and afternoon Kindergarten class.  Mrs. Turabian will be the teacher for both classes.

The number of students moving to grade 1 does create an imbalance if the school maintains a separate grade 1 class.  The decision has been made to create two grade 1 / 2 combined classes for the coming school year.  These two class configurations allow for a greater number of grade 1 students in each room so that the grade 1 students are not feeling threatened by the experience.  Moving from Kindergarten to grade 1 is stressful enough without being one of the very few grade 1 students in a class.
