The students of St. James Collegiate are committed to a multitude of social justice and philanthropy-based projects each year.

Some highlights of their efforts this year so far include:

Hosting the 2nd Annual World Bread-Fast Wednesday’s which welcomes students in the morning every Wednesday at 8:00 AM with a sampling of various breads from around the world and hot chocolate to start their day.

Attending the United Way Youth Leadership Conference.

Running a school based Koats For Kids campaign.

Collecting new socks for the Main Street Project campaign.

Running our 4th Annual "We Bake For Goats" goat-shaped cookie sale for the ME to WE organization. All funds raised are donated to purchase goats for families in the developing world to help them improve their lives by giving them the means to earn an income and send their children to school.

These student-led initiatives contribute to strengthening an already positive and connected school culture with a focus on local and global causes.
