Since the fall of 2008, elementary schools in Manitoba have collected over EIGHT MILLION plastic bags for recycling into free Frisbees, bird houses, planter boxes and benches for their schools. This year the students at Strathmillan School collected 13,910 bags to be recycled. Our school's Green Team members were active in collecting, counting and organizing bags.
