From December 6 to 9, the Sturgeon Heights Boys Hockey team defended their crown playing in the Vic Inn High School Hockey Tournament in Brandon. The Huskies played the St. Paul's Crusaders in the final, where they came away with a win of 4-1. For the second year in a row, the Huskies brought home the Vic Inn Division Championship banner. This is an impressive accomplishment as the Vic Inn is the biggest tournament in province, consisting of 24 of the top teams in Manitoba and Ontario. Congratulations to all Husky players and to head coach Tyler Metcalfe, assistant coaches Brett Watt, Tanner Engel, Brett Bigourdin and team manager Nicole Hazen. An extended congratulations to Cayden O, awarded player of the game in the finals, and Ryan O., Vic Inn Tournament MVP!
