SJASD Trustees are inviting all Parent Advisory Council (PAC) members to attend an important information session on November 4, 2025, at the Board Office (2574 Portage Avenue).
The Parent Council Information Session gets underway at 6:30 p.m., and will feature presentations on outdoor development from Brent Mehyden, the Director of Facilities and Maintenance for the Division, and fundraising. Trustees will also be present to meet with attendees and discuss topics of interest to PAC members. 
“Trustees planned this event following multiple conversations with PAC members who were looking for ways to improve their practices, and connect with other PAC members to share idea," explains new Board Chair Tara Smith. “The Board also recognizes the many challenges that face our PACs with outdoor development."
