Gym
-Badminton Intramurals continue today with the Grade 6's in the gym at lunch. Check the whiteboard outside the gym for this week's schedule.
-Please also check the whiteboard for updated practice schedule for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 Badminton next week.
News from the Music Wing
Reminder any students wishing to audition for the divisional musical, Madagascar, can come for a rehearsal next Tuesday, April 30th at lunch in the music room.
Our Grade 7 musicians have a workshop today with a special guest conductor. A reminder that the musicians will make their way to homeroom at the 11:40 bell to check in with their homeroom teacher and deposit items in their locker before making their way to the band room for the workshop at the 11:45 dismissal bell.
Choir is cancelled at lunch time today.
Sopranos will sing this afternoon during Period 6.
Announcements
The St. James-Assiniboia School Division's "Wheel Challenge" has returned. The Challenge will take place from May 21 to June 10. This is a chance for students to "wheel" on a regular basis. You can roller-skate, rollerblade, bike or scooter your way to wellness. Also, students have a chance of winning a $500.00 shopping spree at White Pine Bicycle to be drawn after June 10th. Bingo Cards can be obtained from the office if needed.
Reminders
There is an Ultimate practice Monday after school.
Kickboxing Club will meet today. Please be ready to start after school with your water bottles filled.
Just a reminder fitness club runs every morning and the cut off time to arrive is 8:15 am. After school, it is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until May 2nd.
If you are coming for early morning practices such as band, the morning Workout Club or team sports, please remember to use your entry doors at the back, not the front doors, as there is not always someone in the office to let you in.
For students being picked up at the end of the day please make sure you are not getting picked up on the front street in front of the school or bus loop as these are no stopping zones.
