January Assessment

December 06, 2022

The following is important information about January final course assessments. Some courses will not be having a final semester ending assessment. For example, our vocational programs will instead do all of their assessment as in class as hands on activities and projects. These courses will not require a sit-down final written assessment. Other classes such as math, science, etc., will have a final written assessment. In most cases these assessments are being conducted over two days. Please review the Final Assessment Calendar with your son or daughter to make sure they know when their final assessments are. Students are expected to attend these final assessments. The value of these final assessments has been set to a maximum of 10% of the student’s final grade. If you have any questions about this schedule or these assessments, please feel free to contact the College Sturgeon Heights Administration.

On Thursday February 2 the school division has set side this day for any students who are close to passing where the teacher feels there is a minimal amount of work that can be done on this day that will get the student to 50% and a credit. It is called Credit Recovery day.

These students will be told who they are by their teacher.
