Gym
-There will be no Intramurals in the gym today at lunch due to the Tier 2 Badminton team being gone to their tournament this afternoon. Good luck to the Tier 2 Badminton Team!
-There will be a Tier 1 Badminton game today after school at George Waters. Any questions, please see Mr. McGavock or Mrs. Vendramelli.
-Ultimate Frisbee players there is a game at Lincoln Middle School tomorrow from 4:30 - 6:00. See Mrs. Arsenault if you have any questions.
News from the Music Wing
Reminder Choir Altos will sing this week on Thursday during Period 6.
The Madagascar divisional audition practice has been moved to Thursday at lunch and Mrs. Chrisp will help any provincial honor band musicians wanting extra support with their music in preparation for this weekend's concert today at lunch in the music room. All provincial honor band musicians are welcome to visit the band room today over the lunch hour.
Announcements
The St. James-Assiniboia School Division's "Wheel Challenge" has returned. The Challenge will take place from May 21 to June 10. This is a chance for students to "wheel" on a regular basis. You can roller-skate, rollerblade, bike or scooter your way to wellness. Also, students have a chance of winning a $500.00 shopping spree at White Pine Bicycle to be drawn after June 10th. Bingo Cards can be obtained from the office if needed.
Reminders
Yarnology will meet today at 12:05 in the Guidance Room.
Just a reminder fitness club runs every morning and the cut off time to arrive is 8:15 am. After school, it is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until May 2nd.
If you are coming for early morning practices such as band, the morning Workout Club or team sports, please remember to use your entry doors at the back, not the front doors, as there is not always someone in the office to let you in.
For students being picked up at the end of the day please make sure you are not getting picked up on the front street in front of the school or bus loop as these are no stopping zones.
