​Congratulations to Shekinah Ramos, Choral Student of the Month! 

Shekinah is currently in Grade 9 here at Westwood. She is a highly valued member of the Westwood Concert Choir and the vocal jazz ensemble, Vocal State of Mind. Shekinah is also a valued member of the St. James-Assiniboia Divisional Senior Choir. She is a dedicated and committed student with both creative and technical vocal skills. Just recently, Shekinah performed her first vocal solo at Westwood’s Jazz Café. Shekinah is a strong presence in the soprano section of the Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz, and her musical ability is an asset to her classmates. She influences other singers in the choir with her positive attitude and willingness to try new things. Shekinah, thanks for your focus and hard work and for being a shining example for all other choral students.
