No Pandemic Will Ever Stop Play! PLAY WILL FIND A WAY! This grassroots effort was created by educators in support of unstructured playtime for students around the world. February 4, 2015, was the first annual Global School Play Day, and over 65,000 students participated! In 2020, 563,283 students from 75 Nations took part. Can we reach 1,000,000 students in 2021? We think so!

The Eco-Globe Schools annual recognition program has been developed to recognize that Manitoba schools are involved in a variety of activities that promote and integrate Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

The Celebrate Literacy Award recognizes organizations, institutions, and individuals that have made significant literacy contributions at the local, state, or provincial level. The hope is that the celebration will familiarize the public with literacy activities in the community and call attention to the work that is being done by the schools and the International Literacy Association to promote literacy worldwide.

Canada's Outstanding Principals (Mr. Ferguson-Baird 2016) is a nationally recognized award and an executive leadership training program that honours the unique and vital contribution of principals in publicly funded schools. Developed by The Learning Partnership, the program celebrates principals across Canada for their outstanding commitments within their schools and communities.
