Sansome School participated in the global Great Kindness Challenge for the 4th straight year. At the heart of The Great Kindness Challenge is the simple belief that kindness is strength. As well, we believe that as an action is repeated, a habit is formed. With the Great Kindness Challenge checklist in hand, students have the opportunity to repeat kind act after kind act. Working together, we will joyfully prove that KINDNESS MATTERS.

Some facts about this global challenge:

- Involves over 13 000 000 students!

- Involves over 24 000 schools!

- In 2019, the challenge recognized over 650 million acts of kindness!

- Occurs in over 110 countries around the world!

To help us recognize this special week, all students and staff were encouraged to dress with "kindness" in mind.  Theme days were planned by a number of our own grade 5 students that included Rainbow Day, Name Day, You Inspire Me Day and more. 

Each day kindness quotes and scientific facts were shared over the morning announcements and throughout classrooms. Every class had a kindness challenge to complete, and all classes were encouraged to put up kindness messages on our Kindness Wall throughout the week!

We hope all students enjoyed the week of events and remember that Kindness Always Matters!
