​Sansome students benefitted from a surprise visit by Tracy Scmitt who is an award winning leader, humanitarian, advocate, decorated athlete, international speaker and ... did we mention that she was also born as a 4-way amputee? Despite her physical challenges she has accomplished so much and was able to share her spirit and motivation with our students.  Students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 where able to ask questions about her own adaptations to day-to-day life, learn from her experiences of training and growth and heard first hand that being challenged is often the first step to learning and succeeding.  Thank you Tracy Schmitt for making us a stop on your travels through Winnipeg!
