It is a privilege to serve the Crestview School community as Principal. After a year of learning alongside our students, staff, and families, I am even more grateful to be part of a school community that is deeply committed to helping every child thrive.
Crestview is home to approximately 250 students from Kindergarten to Grade 5, along with the Crestview School Children's Centre. We are grateful to learn and work on Treaty 1 territory, and we are committed to ongoing learning and action toward truth and reconciliation.
Over the past year, I have come to appreciate the way our core values of Belonging, Growth, Independence, and Generosity are woven into everyday life at Crestview. We work hard to ensure every student feels connected and valued, challenged and supported in their learning, empowered to develop confidence and responsibility, and encouraged to make a positive difference in our school and community.
Our dedicated staff creates a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where students are supported to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Together with our families, we celebrate each child's unique strengths and believe that every learner has the potential to succeed.
The partnership between home and school is one of Crestview's greatest strengths. We encourage families to stay connected through our website, Instagram, Notes from the Office, and the many events and celebrations that bring our community together throughout the year.
Being a Crestview Clipper means being part of a caring community where everyone belongs, learning is valued, leadership is encouraged, and kindness is shared. I am proud to be part of this exceptional community and look forward to another year of learning, growth, and connection together.
