Principal's Message

Robert Bell 2.jpgAs principal of Crestview School, it is a great privilege to be able to welcome our students, parents, and guardians to another school year.  The school team is ready to work with all our students and provide an experience that will help each individual student grow their academic, social, and personal management skills.  Crestview School is a safe, nurturing, and innovative learning community where all students are supported to learn and achieve at high levels.

Crestview School is 'home' to approximately 230 students from kindergarten to Grade 5 and the Crestview School Children's Centre.  We acknowledge that we are on treaty one land, the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, and Dakota, Lakota, Dene peoples and homeland of the Metis nation.

Crestview School is a welcoming and inclusive community. We look forward to working in partnership with our school families and community members to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences for our students.  I look forward to meeting all our students and families in the weeks ahead.  Please don't hesitate to get in touch with your child's teachers or myself if you have any questions, concerns, or feedback over the course of the school year.

Being a Crestview Clipper means that you are part of a learning community that believes in respect and safety to achieve social and academic growth.  Throughout the school year we will work with our students to learn these values and provide all students the opportunity to discover the passion to learn, take risks, and experience success.

Throughout the school year we will look for opportunities to share the learning of our students and having our community join us in our celebrations.  Please consider following the schools Instagram account (@sjasd_crestview_clippers), your child's teacher's Instagram and/or Seesaw accounts, and the weekly Notes From the Office sent to your email, to stay up to date with the progress of our students and upcoming events.

We are looking forward to a great year of learning and growth together!

Mr. Rob Bell
Principal
