Winter Concert:

Congratulations to all the students on their fabulous performances at our 2017 Winter Concert. Many thanks again to staff, who shared their talents and helped make the afternoon and evening possible with endless hours of rehearsals and behind the scenes work.

Crestview Singers:

The Crestview Singers will resume rehearsals on Tuesdays at 12:15 beginning on January 9. We are starting to prepare for our divisional Music Celebration in February, as well as the Winnipeg Music Festival in March. Information will be sent home but can also be found on the Music Blog (http://crestviewsingers.blogspot.ca).

Recorder Clubs:

Congratulations to the Advanced Recorder Club (grade 4 and 5 students) who did an excellent job of playing Jingle Bells at the Winter Concert. Did you notice that they played in two parts? Way to go! We will continue to meet on Thursdays at 12:20 in the Music Room.

Recorder Karate Club will be starting up in January. Any grade 3, 4 or 5 students who would like to earn colourful "belts" and practice their recorder skills are invited to meet in the Music Room on Fridays at 12:20.

Musical Theatre:

The Divisional Musical Theatre is excited to showcase this year's production of Seussical. You won't want to miss out! Tickets go on sale in January. The Grade 5's will be attending on Thursday, February 1 in the afternoon.
