Congratulations to the Crestview Singers!  They received GOLD for the performance they gave at the Winnipeg Music Festival on February 26. This is a fantastic group of keen and talented singers! Congratulations to all choir members for their dedication and hard work. A special thank you to Mrs. Barbour (Annessa's grandma), Mrs. Colbourn (Ava C-T's mom) and Mrs. Zelmer (Ava Z's mom) for their volunteer support to the choir at the festival. Another huge thank you goes out to Jude's mom, Ms. Rigey-Hamilton, for her fine playing on the clarinet during Manx Lullaby.

Rehearsals will continue on Tuesdays at 12:20-12:50. We are working towards the Family of Schools Concert in May (at John Taylor Collegiate). More information to follow in April.

Advanced Recorder Club:  The Advanced Recorder Club will continue to meet on Thursdays from 12:20 – 12:40. This group is made up of grade 5 students who want to excel in their recorder skills.  They are earning beads for their recorders by playing more difficult songs as well as learning to play songs that have multiple parts. We hope to perform in the future.

Recorder Karate Club:  Recorder Karate Club will continue to meet on Fridays from 12:20 – 12:40. These students are working towards their Recorder Karate Belts. Grade 3-5 students are welcome to join at any time. If students would like to practice at home, you can find the music here: http://crestviewrecorderkarate.blogspot.ca. The music notes are posted and you can click the arrow to have accompaniment play along with you.
