As opposed to having parents shop for
school supplies, Heritage School simply collects $50 from parents for
each child to cover the cost of school supplies (i.e. pencils, crayons, glue, notebooks, duotangs, special crafts, classroom projects, etc.) and an agenda.Purchasing supplies in bulk provides uniformity of supplies for all children while utilizing the most cost efficient means. This fee can be paid in cash or cheque (made out to
Heritage School) at Opening Day Conferences.
Students in Rooms 14, 19, 20, 23 and 10 will require a recorder/cleaning swab for Music. These may be purchased from the school at a charge of $10.00 if your child does not already have a set. The music teacher will send more information regarding recorders when required! We ask that you please do not buy a recorder from the Dollar Store as the sound is definitely of lower quality.
PLEASE BRING YOUR PAYMENT TO THE OPENING DAY INTERVIEW.
If paying by cheque, please make it payable toHeritage School. If you are unable to pay these costs at one time, please complete a payment schedule with your child’s teacher at the interview. All payments should be completed by mid November.
Each student will also need to bring a pair of running shoes (for indoor use), a back pack and a pair of headphones or ear buds for the iPads. Running shoes should not be the skateboard type as they need to be tied tightly for running and games in the gym. Please ensure that your child’s name is on these items.
