Principal's Message

img20180508_08351143.bmpAs principal of Lincoln Middle School, I share this message with pride and gratitude.

2019-2020 was definitely a β€œYear to Remember.”  The start of the year saw Lincoln students and staff continue to excel with academics, sports, and the Arts.   Our athletic teams flourished under the guidance of teacher and volunteer coaches.  Our academics in the classroom continued to evolve with an emphasis on continuous improvement.  Students showcased their many talents in the Arts through Musical rehearsals, Rock Band, Improv, Visual Art and Dance.

Suddenly, the world was faced with challenges it had never seen before.  The reality of Covid-19 stretched the way we needed to function as a caring and united learning community.   Lincoln Middle School was definitely up to the challenge. The innovation and creativity used to make sure student learning remained paramount was nothing less than incredible. Thank you to staff, students, and parents for your tireless efforts in the implementation of remote learning.  You have proved that your resilience, compassion, and dedication can overcome any obstacle.

I would like to express a special thank you and congratulations to all of our grade 8 students.  You have shared so many special talents and accomplishments with Lincoln and we are so grateful.  You will be dearly missed.  We are excited to know that you will continue to reach many more goals along your educational journey.

Best wishes to all for continued success and thank you for an exceptional year.

Mr. Patrick Betz
