Registration Information
The school accepts registrations during regular office hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Please contact the school if you have any questions about the programs our school offers or about student registration. Children registering for Kindergarten 2025-26 must be five years old by December 31, 2025 (born in 2020). Stevenson School Kindergarten is a full-day class. Students may bring lunch or be picked up and returned by their parents/guardians. Our lunch hour is 11:35 - 12:35.
**Coming FEB 6th 2026 - Registration Documents for the 2026-27 School Year**
- A custodial parent must register the child
- Birth Certificate (Original birth certificate is required. Photocopies are not acceptable)
- If your child is not born in Canada, you will be required to provide citizenship papers or one of the following documents: Permanent Resident card, Record of Landing, Valid Work Permit/Visa, Valid Study Permit
- 2 Proofs of Residency (eg. valid Manitoba driver’s license, lease agreement, house title or other official documents indicating address of residence.)
Out-of-Catchment/Out-of-Division Requests (K-5)
While
this is not always possible, and depends on available space and other
considerations, if this is something your family would like to do,
caregivers may submit an online Out-of-Catchment/Out-of-Division
application and be placed on a waitlist. SJASD will review each request
on the wait list and let the family know whether the application has
been accepted or denied.
Please note the following:
- You must
first register your child for their catchment school prior to
completing the online Out-of-Catchment/Out-of-Division application.
Out of Catchment & Division Letter 26/27
- SJASD will begin accepting online applications for the 2026-27 school year on February 13, 2026 at 8 a.m. Link is available here: https://fs26.formsite.com/sjasd/soc2026/index
- Families on the waitlist will be notified of the status of their requests by the board office by June 15, 2026.
