Middle Years student registration forms for next years grades 6, 7 and 8 will be sent home on Friday, January 27th. They will also be made available on our school’s website beginning on January 27, 2023 meant for all in-catchment families who do not currently attending a SJASD school. The registration process is described in greater detail below. 

Middle Years In-Catchment Registration - January 27, 2023: 

Grade 6 registrations and students new to SJASD: Families will determine their catchment area school via School Locator and visit the corresponding school website to access the registration forms. Grade 5 students currently attending a SJASD school will be provided their Grade 6 Middle Years catchment school registration form by their current school. Registration forms are to be submitted back by these students to their current Early Years school by February 10th, 2023. Families new to SJASD and who are in our catchment area can bring these forms directly to our school office during school hours. 

Senior Years In-Catchment Registration - February 10, 2023: 

Grade 9 registrations and students new to SJASD: Families will determine their catchment area school via School Locator and visit the corresponding school website to access the registration forms. Grade 8 students currently attending a SJASD school will be provided their Grade 9 Senior Years catchment area school registration form by their current school. Registration forms are to be submitted by the students to their current Middle Years school by February 24, 2022. Families new to SJASD and who are in our catchment area can bring these forms directly to our school office during school hours. 

Online Out-of-Catchment and Out-of-Division Requests - February 17, 2023 

All SJASD school webpages will have a link for an online waitlist for students who wish to apply for schools of choice for the 2023-24 school year. All students on this waitlist should be registered first at their catchment school. This waitlist will close on June 15, 2023. Families on the waitlist will be notified of the status of their request on or before June 16, 2022.  

Information Evening: 

Students and their families who are new to each school will have the opportunity to engage in an in-person school information event which is scheduled after the registration deadline. Lincoln Middle School’s information evening happens on Tuesday, April 11th from 6:00-7:00 pm.
