During the week of January 22–26, all students and staff will be participating in a variety of activities and discussions about personal resilience, seeking and providing support to others, and remaining in a positive mindset during times of challenge.
On Friday, January 26th we will welcome guest speaker Kelli Sommerfield, a registered counselor from Colorful Roots Winnipeg. She will be speaking with each of the grade 7 classes about mental wellness and emotional regulation. Kelli is a mom of 3 teenage boys and has been doing work with Valour Football Club, Sport Manitoba, and Winnipeg School Division.
