Celebration of learning - News.jpg

On the evening of Thursday, March 8th, Lincoln Middle School staff and students will be having Celebration of Learning Conferences. This exciting event is a chance for Lincoln students to demonstrate and celebrate their learning growth.

Conferences will be held in your child’s various classroom environments. Families are asked to book a 45 minute block of time during which they will travel from one classroom to another in no particular order. Parents will have approximately 10-15 minutes per subject area to conference with their child about their learning.

Upon arriving at Lincoln for your scheduled time, please visit our greeting table in the foyer. The table will have signs to help you find your child’s agenda for the evening. Within your 45 minute time slot, you will be moving from one classroom/subject area to another at your leisure. At each location, students will have a chance to share their learning.

Please note that there may be other families in the classrooms at the same time. If at any point you feel a particular classroom is too busy at the time of your arrival, please feel free to visit another learning environment and return at a later time during your 45 minute block.

One on one appointments will only be available with Ms. Ellis (Resource) and Mrs. Mercier (Guidance). Please call the school office at 204-837-8397 to book an appointment with the above mentioned staff members.

Thank you for being an important part of the Lincoln community of learners. Your participation in this event helps to inspire and encourage Lincoln students to continue their hard work and recognize the many goals that have been achieved.

As always, individual appointments may be requested with your child’s classroom teachers at an alternate time.
