Dear École Ness Families,
The 23-24 school year is coming to an end and what an incredible year it has been! Students should be incredibly proud of their learning accomplishments. May you all have a wonderful summer and, to our departing Grade 8 students and families, may you enjoy continued success in your next chapter.
Please read below carefully as it pertains to important Fall start-up dates and information.
Please also note that class placement for our new Grade 6 students is noted on the final report card, an email has been sent to our returning Grades 7 & 8 students.
Please note the information below regarding the 24-25 school year start-up:
2024-25 Start Up Dates:
Thursday, August 15: École Ness Office reopens to the public. Our office hours are
8:15 AM -4:15 PM.
Monday, September 2: Labour Day Holiday.
Tuesday, September 3: Professional Development Day for all staff, no school for students.
Wednesday, September 4 & Thursday, September 5 – Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences. Appointment booking will open beginning Wednesday, August 21.
Friday, September 6: First day of classes.
2024-2025 September Start-Up Family Information Package:
All new and returning École Ness Families will receive an email on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, that will include the following:
School Day Calendar 2024-2025
École Ness Student Fees 2024-2025: (student fees can be paid using School Cash Online, by following this link SchoolCash Online Instructions)
$50.00 – First Child (each additional child, $25.00) for the Student fee and the Fund Drive
$25.00 Student Fee
$25.00 Fund Drive (One per family)
$120.00 – Instrumental rental fee for Band Students
$25.00 – Art kits for Art Students

Students will receive their timetable in the Fall. Please note that the deadline for making changes to Art or Band options is September 30. Due to scheduling complexities, change requests after this date cannot be accepted.
