2026-27 Registration Dates
Please review the following information for upcoming important dates with regards to registration for the 2026-27 school year.
January 30, 2026 - Middle Years In-Catchment Registration:
Registration forms for existing grade 6 and 7 students currently enrolled at École Ness will be distributed. Due back to École Ness by February 6, 2026.
Grade 5 students currently attending a SJASD school will be provided by their Grade 6 MY catchment school registration form by their current school. Due back to Early Years School by February 6, 2026.
February 6, 2026 - Senior Years In-Catchment Registration:
Registration forms distributed to Grade 8 catchment school students by their Middle Years school. Due back to École Ness February 20, 2026.
Grade 8 students currently attending a SJASD school will be provided by their Grade 9 SY catchment school registration form by their current school. Registration forms are to be submitted by the students to each MY school by February 20, 2026.
February 13, 2026 - Out-of-Division online waitlist opens. Waitlist closes on May 15, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. Please contact your catchment school office for further information regarding student registration for the 2026-27 school year.

February 10, 2026 - Families of current grade 8 students registering at CSHC are welcome to attend their Information Night at 6:00 pm at Collège Sturgeon Heights Collegiate.
April 15, 2026 - Families of current grade 5 students are welcome to attend our Information Night at 6:00 pm.
June 15, 2026 - Families on the waitlist will be notified of the status of their request by June 15, 2026.
June 18, 2026 - Middle and Senior years schools will plan a “Day in the Life" experience for new registrants on June 18. Information will be provided to new registered students.
A custodial parent must register the child in person and provide the following documents:
- Birth Certificate (Original birth certificate is required. Photocopies are not acceptable)
- If your child is not born in Canada, you will be required to provide citizenship papers or one of the following documents: Permanent Resident card, Record of Landing, Valid Work Permit/Visa, Valid Study Permit
- Manitoba Health card showing child & parent names
- 2 Proofs of Residency (eg. MB medical card, valid Manitoba driver’s licence, lease agreement, house title or other official documents indicating address of residence.)
