École Robert Browning is a K-5 French Immersion school located in the heart of the Westwood community.  The school serves a population of over 250 students and has a catchment area including any child living west of Sturgeon Creek, South of Portage Avenue and into Headingley.    We acknowledge that we are on Treaty One land, the traditional territory of the Cree, Anishinaabe and Dakota peoples and homeland of the Métis Nation.

The school was built in 1963 and has served the community as an English school, a dual track school and currently as an immersion centre.  At école Robert Browning, we provide students with life skills that will serve them in the future by creating deeper learning opportunities through discussions and collaboration in an exploratory learning environment.  The parents in our school community are partners in the students' education.  Our mission statement is:

'École Robert Browning is a bilingual setting where we respect ourselves and others.  We accept responsibility for our actions and our learning.'

'L'école Robert Browning est un milieu français où nous respectons nous-mêmes et les autres.  Nous acceptons la responsabilité de nos actions et de notre apprentissage.'

École Robert Browning is an inclusive community where all students experience success.
