Ecole Bannatyne School Parent Council






Ecole Bannatyne School has an active Parent Council which works cooperatively with the school in the best educational interests of the children.  The Council organizes general meetings of interest to all parents, sponsors fundraising events and co-hosts special activities with the school.  We encourage you to become active with this group for the betterment of your child’s education.

Movie Night March 23rd **SING**

Doors Open at 6:00Movie Starts at 6:30. Parent Council Executive has decided to give our hard-working volunteers a break and sell popcorn, water and candy at this movie night!

As you know Bannatyne Parent council and school community have a big job ahead of us with the play structure set to come out this summer. We receive $10 from each book to go towards our fundraising efforts! By purchasing your Show & Save from us, you will be supporting our School while at the same time saving your family a lot of money. Look for this Fundraiser Mid March, orders will be due back after spring date (Specific Date TBD)

Our Parent Council will be raising money this March by selling the Show & Save Card and Coupon Book. Show & Save welcomes Applebee’s, Smitty’s and IHOP among others to the Show & Save program in addition to some of your favourites such as McDonald’s, Subway, Manitoba Moose and many more! The Book now features over $300 in FREE STUFF (no purchase necessary) and has over $10,000 in money saving offers including coupons for purchases at numerous grocery stores, restaurants and businesses throughout the city. For only $20 you can experience endless savings with the Re-usable Card and Coupon Book.

March 23rd Special Lunch


Parent Council will be hosting a Playground specific meeting on Thursday, April 12th at 7:00 pm. This meeting is to address questions and concerns that families may have in regards to our upcoming project. We are looking to form a committee of people who will be willing to help with the playground planning and grant writing process, we would be looking for a commitment for the remainder of this school year and the 2018-2019 school year!
