Buchanan School is a vibrant learning community where all learners are valued and belong. Our mission statement is “The Buchanan Team is dedicated to personal academic success; respect for individual rights; and celebrating diversity so our students grow as caring, responsible citizens.”
Buchanan School takes pride in the strong sense of community that has been established. Home, school, and community members have contributed to this sense of acceptance and belonging. We believe in supporting students in their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. We value the active involvement of our parents in partnering with us as their child’s first teachers and the ones who know them best. Through on-going communication and sharing of information, we can best plan and meet the individual needs of each learner.
