On November 9, 2020, the Education Minister announced that there would be three additional non-instructional days added to the school calendar for the 2020-21 year. Schools can use this time to focus on collaborative planning. Two of these days are to be scheduled before winter break and one in the second semester.

For this reason, all St. James-Assiniboia schools will close for Inservice days on Monday, November 23, 2020, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, and Tuesday, February 16, 2021. All classes and transportation will be cancelled on these three days.
