2022 Manitoba Girls Football Association

The St. James Rods Football Club and the Manitoba Girls Football Association (MGFA) are pleased to announce the start of player registration for the 2022 Tackle Football season! The program offers spring tackle football for girls in two age groups:

Junior Division Players born between 2009 - 2012

Senior Division Players born between 2005 - 2008

It is a stand-alone program that allows the girls that only want to play against other girls. The games are played in a six-on-six player format with a reduced sized field. While the games are competitive, the primarily focus is teaching the fundamental skills and techniques involved in the game in a safe and controlled environment. Because of this approach to coaching the program is open to anyone regardless of experience.

Kidsport Canada provides funds to help offset the cost of participant registration fees for community based sport programs.
