Manitoba, Her Honour the Honourable Janice Filmon read to the students in room
8 for I Love To Read Month. She read the
book, “After the Fall” by Dan Santat. It
is about how Humpty Dumpty gets put back together and how he moves forward with
his life and now his fear of heights.

8 were a wonderful audience with great questions for Her Honour. She explained about her job and all the

She was accompanied by her administrative assistant,
Major B. Kiecker. She gave all the boys
and girls her special pin which is associated with the office of the Lieutenant
Governor. She explained to the boys and
girls she could not leave it to the classroom teacher but that she must hand
them out personally to each individual.
The students were very respectful.
The Honourable Janice Filmon left with her
administrative assistant in a government car with her special flag attached to
the front of the vehicle.
It was a very special
time for the students and adults of Room 8.
Enjoy the pictures and the students will treasure their pins.
