Phoenix School is having a bus loop constructed in the front of the school in early July.  The design of the bus loop includes revised play spaces for students.  There will be a new secured tarmac play space.  A picture of the bus loop project is on the Phoenix School website .  In addition, there is an architectural drawing posted near the front entrance of the school.

Phoenix Parent Council is considering the purchase of a basketball drop shot – pictured below.  It is very well built (with very little maintenance required) and it is suited to students K-5, given that it can accommodate several players at once from different angles.  The approximate cost of the drop shot structure is $3,000 – including installation and taxes.

Parent Council is hopeful that the funds raised during our current Sausage & Cheese fundraiser could go towards the purchase of this Drop Shot.  This would ensure current funds that are raised can continue to go towards programming and other longer term projects for the school.
Parent Council believes this Drop Shot structure will be a great addition to the students' play area.   Phoenix Parent Council and Phoenix School thank the parent community in advance for participating and supporting the current fundraiser.
Parent Council earns $3 for every sausage ring sold and $2 for each cheese unit sold.

Parent Council will provide an update as to funds raised from the Sausage & Cheese Fundraiser and if the Drop Shot is a possibility towards the end of April.
Regards,
Your Phoenix School Parent Council
