*Are you interested in coding or programming? Have you ever flown a drone, or do you want to try flying one? There will be another short meeting THIS Friday in Mr. Hayward's room, #205. We'll start at 12:05, so bring your lunch. Any new students are welcome to attend! Please see Mr. Jamieson if you have any questions.
*Are you curious what the different activities and groups at St. James Collegiate do? On Wednesday, September 24, SJC will be hosting a Jimmies Extracurricular Fair by the office which will showcase all of the amazing initiatives you can a be part of. Grade 9s are invited to attend at 11:45 AM and it will be open for all other students at lunchtime.
*For those of you with some musical talent, Mr. W is starting up a program called "Jimmies Rocks" which will allow you to have the opportunity to play in a rock band environment. If you can play guitar, drums, bass, keys, or can sing, this program is for you. Come see Mr. W in room 215 if you are interested
*If there are any students that are interested in playing some Fall Ultimate, please see Mr.W asap. This is a great opportunity for returning players to continue to improve, as well as an opportunity for new players to try the sport. Players must be able to commit to the upcoming game dates.
*Our first YIP meeting will take place next Thursday, September 25th in Mr Coates' room (208). All are welcome!
*All grade 12's interested in working on grad planning please sign up outside Mr. Hayward's room so we can plan accordingly, I need to know how many are coming. The meeting is today at 12:05!
*The school's sustainability club, the EcoJimmies will host their first meeting this Friday at 12:15 in room 105 - Ms Tuchscherer's room. If you would like to be involved in the planning of Earth Week, Fair Trade roses and other initiatives please join us. Everyone is welcome.
