Our last in-school Post Secondary club session with Jesse will take place on Thursday at lunch in Room 105. Our May session takes place on U of M campus. More info to be provided at the meeting.
Any students interested in the school year clean-up after school on Friday, please sign up with Ms T in room 105.
Our Earth Week event today is painting water bottles. We have metal bottles available that were designed by students from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation - the source of Winnipeg's drinking water. Come learn about this community and create something beautiful and informative! Tomorrow we will open the EcoJimmies swap and thrift shop outside room 105.
Any grade 9-12 girls interested in playing soccer this year please attend the two tryouts on Tuesday April 30 & Wednesday May 1. For more information, please speak to Mr. Scarpino in room 104.
Astro Jimmies meets today in room 211 at lunch.
Crochet club continues today in 201 at lunch.
Blood bus will be running on Friday, May 10 at 9am. If you are 17 or older and eligible to donate, please see Ms.Connor in room 209. This is our only blood bus for the year!
Nominations are now open for the offices of Student Council President, Vice-President and Secretary, as well as Grad Chairperson for the 2023-2024 school year.
Executive teams must consist of 3 student candidates to fill the roles of President, Vice- President, and Secretary. Presidential nominees must be in grade 11 entering grade 12, while nominees for the Vice-President, and Secretary positions can be entering grades 11 or 12. Nominees for the Grad Chairperson position must be entering grade 12 in September.
Nominees for these positions should have previous Student Council experience, or significant leadership experience in school, or the community. All nominees must be in good academic standing.
Interested parties can pick up nomination forms in Mr. Halbert's room, (202). The deadline to submit nomination forms is Friday, May 3rd.
